Soul Mates Are Forever!

There is a theory that at the very beginning we were pure spirit with our Creator...And in that time of innocence, in that time of beginning we had a soul mate, our male or female counterpart.
With that soul mate we danced with the wind. We played, we made heavenly music and we loved unconditionally. With that soul mate we were whole.
But then as the Creator Spirit had it, it was time to part from our soul mate, to experience other realms of our spirituality, so began the cycle of physical incarnations, cycles of birth, death and rebirth.
And though we went through a period of forgetting, we somehow never forgot nor lost the
longing to return to our true soul mate. That soul memory of unconditional love was indeed the very fuel that propelled us forward on our endless journey of incarnations.
We would endure trials and tribulations along the way. Yet a soul awareness told us that our other half was also searching for us. Sooner or later we would be reunited.
Through our lifetimes, past and present, many individuals have crossed our paths. Some have an immediate and unforgettable impact on us. We sense something about their energy. And our soul immediately thinks, "Is this my soul mate? Will this person love me unconditionally? Will this person make me feel whole?"
My friend, in reality, none of these is your soul mate. Only when your cycle of lifetimes has ended will you be returned to your true soul mate. Only then, will your soul and its counterpart once again dance and make music with the wind.
Other individuals you meet in this cycle of lifetimes are also on journeys of soul awakening. These individuals also have dreams and longings as you do. Yet their dreams and longings are slightly different. Each of you will teach the other invaluable lessons along the way.
Know that when you feel the attraction, the intensity, the energy of someone you deem special in your life, it is because this person indeed possesses some of the qualities of your true soul mate.
Yet, as we rejoice in the memory of these qualities, the next thing we try to do is to make that individual into our soul mate. We try to mold that person into our own expectations instead of appreciating the uniqueness of that individual.
The lesson from all of this is: Honor each person for what they can teach you on a soul level. If you are impressed by certain familiar qualities, recognize this as a soul memory of similar qualities your true soul mate possesses in the complete form.
Relationships in this current lifetime will end. Each of you may choose to grow in a different direction. Yet, always remember the qualities you loved in that individual. Rejoice that you had an opportunity to experience these qualities in small doses until you return to your true soul mate.
Move joyfully toward your next lesson in this bountiful cycle of lifetimes in the physical body. The sooner you learn the lessons, the sooner you will be returned to pure spirit.
Before long another individual will cross your path with still more enchanting qualities reminiscent of your soul mate.
All these memories, all these gifts are but tools to allow you to move from lesson to lesson until you are finally reunited with your true soul mate.
-Oh the joyous celebration of spirit when the cycle of incarnations has finally ended. Together you and your spirit counterpart will once again dance, make music and play joyfully with the wind!
